Primary & Urgent Care Alliance

Shaping The Future
of Healthcare

Practice Manager

Parkwood Family Practice

“We have been using the services of PUCA for a few years. We have always found service provision to be good and the paramedics that are provided to be extremely knowledgeable and kind. Our patients even ask to speak to them directly!”

We're ambitious about finding innovative ways of working

We improve services with evidenced base care

We enhance, support and develop our staff

Our Services

Our programmes of health care aim to increase patient access to unscheduled care, screening, health checks and vaccinations.  We work with GPs and Primary Care Networks to ensure they deliver the full complement of care under Direct Enhanced Services.

We are CQC registered and have a wealth of experience in offering enhanced services as set out in national GP contracts.

We have worked with local commissioners to support local enhanced services, depending on local needs including extended hours, diagnostics, ECG and cardiac monitoring, post discharge care, phlebotomy, public health (immunisations), bank holiday provision and minor surgery.

Our
Services

Enhanced Access

We work with local commissioners to support local services, depending on needs such as extended hours, ECG and cardiac monitoring, post discharge input, bank holiday provision, phlebotomy, public health (immunisations) special patient groups, minor surgery and enhanced care home access.

Primary Care Clinics

As well as community care, our clinicians have a strong academic background with a wealth of experience in emergency care and primary care clinics both in General Practice and urgent care.

What We Offer

Palliative and End Of Life Care

We have specialist clinicians with experience with managing the complexities of palliative and End of Life Care. They are ready to be with you and your loved ones at that critical time of need to help with planning and comfort when it's most important

Vaccinations

Our teams have independently hosted and managed vaccination in the community on behalf of practices and PCNs in the Kent and Medway areas. We have put together weekly clinics with very short notice and have even provided services to vaccinate the most vulnerable in their own homes.

Aceso Health

Our partners at Aceso Health provide on the day remote and face to face appointments.
